THE ADULT ADHD COURSE

A free, self-paced course for adults with ADHD — whether you’re diagnosed, newly identified, or just starting to wonder.

ADHD doesn’t come with a manual. Sixteen short modules — written by clinicians who work with ADHD adults every day — help you understand how your brain actually works, get through the hard parts of daily life, and build a life that fits you. No fixing. No shame. Just a clearer, kinder lens.

Built by a clinical team that works with ADHD adults every day.

This course comes out of the Neurodiverse Couples Counseling Center and the wider New Path Family of Therapy Centers, where clinicians work with ADHD, autistic, and AuDHD adults — and with couples — week after week. The Adult ADHD Course is the one we wished existed when people first came looking for answers: written by clinicians who do this work, many of them neurodivergent themselves.

New Path family of therapy centers Clinicians who work with adults and with couples — so whether ADHD is mostly landing on you or on your relationship, there’s a place to start.

Lived experience Neurodivergent clinicians and ADHD adults shape what we write — what time blindness, RSD, and the Wall of Awful actually feel like, not just how they read in a textbook.

Real research Every module is research-grounded, with tiered citations — and names where the evidence on adult ADHD is still catching up.

A 16-module course about understanding your own mind — and finally having words for what you’ve been living.

Each module covers one topic in depth — what is happening in your brain, what it looks and feels like, why it happens, and what actually helps.

Who this is for: adults with ADHD — diagnosed, newly identified, or self-suspecting — and the people who love them. Whether you have a formal diagnosis or just a growing hunch, you belong here.

What happens inside a module.

Every module follows the same short arc. About 20–30 minutes, start to finish.

1 Read the lesson The neuroscience and the human reality, in plain language, broken into short readable pieces. Roughly 8–12 minutes.

2 See what helps Every lesson ends with the practical part — concrete, ADHD-friendly strategies that fit how your brain actually works, while the context is still fresh.

3 Meet the diagrams & the lens Every idea gets a clear visual metaphor, plus a Strengths Lens on what your wiring does well and a Neuroscience Corner on why — the research, made human.

4 Take a screener — where one is offered A few modules include a short, validated questionnaire — about 5 minutes. It’s always about you, and it’s a mirror for noticing patterns, never a diagnosis or a test you can fail.

5 Do the workbook Short, specific prompts that turn the lesson into something you actually use in your own life. Your answers save to your device — no sign-in, and we never see them.

6 Download your PDF — or talk to a clinician Export your workbook as a clean PDF to keep, share with a therapist, or bring to your next appointment.
