About New Path Family

New Path Family exists so that every neurodivergent person — and everyone who loves them — has somewhere to go for real help, at no cost. We heal. We teach. We care — person to person.

Why we exist

Some of the most valuable work in this field does not have a customer. Explaining rejection sensitivity to a parent at 2 a.m. Building a screener that helps a forty-five-year-old woman finally have a word for her whole life. Speaking up about how autistic adults are treated.

None of that generates revenue, and a business that only does what generates revenue would never do it. So it lives here, in a nonprofit, where it does not have to justify itself commercially.

Our mission is to provide advocacy and mental health resources for the neurodivergent community.

What we publish

All of it free, to anyone, anywhere.

The Learning Center

Five complete self-paced programs on autism, ADHD, communication and relationships. No sign-up. No email required. Start anywhere.

Worksheets and tools

Hundreds of printable, practical resources you can use on your own or bring to any therapist, including one who has nothing to do with us.

Advocacy

Autistic and ADHD adults speaking publicly about what it is actually like, so fewer people spend thirty years being misunderstood.

Nothing here is behind a paywall, a login, or a “book a call to learn more.”

Who we are

New Path Family is the public name of New Path Couples Therapy, Inc., a California nonprofit public benefit corporation recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity. EIN 87-0816107. California Registry of Charities No. CT0277447.

We are a publisher, not a provider. This organization does not offer therapy, does not employ clinicians, does not take clients, and does not bill anyone for anything.

The people who lead this organization serve it without compensation.

Our therapy partner

We are proud to be affiliated with New Path Family of Therapy Centers, Inc., which provides licensed psychotherapy, assessment and coaching. It is a separate California professional corporation under common leadership with this nonprofit, and it is a paid service. This nonprofit receives no part of what you pay them.

You will find them under names like Neurodiverse Couples Counseling Center, Adult Autism Assessment Center, She Rocks the Spectrum, Therapy 4 Autistic Men, Parenting Autism Therapy Center and Believing Cassandra. Those are all doors into the same practice. They publish a set of free self-assessment screeners on those sites, and they hold a limited number of reduced-fee spots for people who cannot afford their standard fee.

Is the free material really free?

Yes. No sign-up, no fee, nothing to buy. It was built by people who care about this work, and we are simply glad when someone uses it. There is never any obligation to become anyone’s client. If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter you will hear from us, and you can unsubscribe at any time — that is the only follow-up there is, and it only happens if you ask for it.

Can I get therapy from the nonprofit?

No. This organization does not provide therapy. If you want professional care, ask the affiliated practice directly and they will tell you honestly what they have available.

In crisis?

We are not a crisis service. If you or someone you love is in danger right now, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), text HOME to 741741, or call 911.
