No. A 2020 diffusion-chain study by Crompton and colleagues found that autistic people pass information to other autistic people just as accurately as non-autistic people do to each other; the breakdown happens specifically in mixed-neurotype interactions. Autistic women aren't bad at communication — they're fluent in a language the room around them often doesn't speak.

Sasson et al. (2017) found non-autistic observers form negative impressions of autistic adults within seconds, based on style. That bias disappeared when people judged only the content of what was said. You're being judged on a stopwatch for style, not substance — which means the problem is in the eye of the beholder, not in you.
